It is definitely a good move. Now all corporates, professionals, partnership firms, businesses must pay their direct taxes online via their bank accounts. This is especially applicable for people whose taxes are greater than INR 50,000. Non-electronic means is no longer acceptable.
For individuals, however, it is optional.
This move will simplify the process and tax evasion will reduce.
